Shawn had an extraordinary life. He was diagnosed with Brain cancer at the age of 3 years old. He
had many treatments; Radiation, Chemotherapy and 13 Brain surgeries. He always remained accepting of
the situation no matter what happened! A woman in Texas, contacted us, after hearing about a block
party our neighbors and friends had, to raise funds for his treatments, and told me God asked her to
send Shawn to see a Dr. in Greece. He was a renowned microbiologist, who injected himself with
cancer, cured himself with the result of seizures. She sent us to him and within a month, Shawn was
up and playing with the other children staying at the Greek Hotel. He was given booster shots from
this Dr. in Mexico and remained in remission until his 21st birthday. The doctors had found another
unoperable wild glioma. Facts proved that most children who had radiation treatments at a young age
were now ending up with the unoperable tumors!! I am ever so greatful for the doctor in greece,
giving me more time with my beloved character of a son!! He loved the Packers and never missed a
game! He listened to Nirvana and drank coca-cola..Never saw him without his coke can!! He succeded
in graduating even though his health issues kept him back for lengths of time. The year we found
out he, again, had another tumor, Shawn decided he wanted to marry the girl of his dreams and best
friend. He married Miss Jenny and fought the battle until the day after his 22nd birthday. He is
so very missed!! He and his brother Ryan, are now together doing the things they couldn't do when he
was so ill and watching over us all! I love you my son, til I see you again, rejoice in your
heavenly life and take care of your brother!!!! Friends, family and visitors please feel free to
light a candle for Shaun...Your kindness and thoughtfulness is truly appreciated!
